It is a 'Touch Screen' shredder. It allows selecting the functions by just touching the screen. It also has an 'EPC (Electronic Power Control)' system. The Kobra 310 TS SS5 is a 'Super Potential Power Unit' office shredder. It utilizes heavy duty chain drive with steel gears to deliver top results. This office shredder has a big 36-gallon waste bag that saves you time and operational cost. There are 2 separate feed openings for paper and plastic. Kobra 310 TS SS5 Departmental Office Shredder

It is hard to shop for new office equipment. Manufacturers promise buyers many specifications and features that they cannot always provide. It is best that potential owners shop around to find the best possible machine for their needs. I had specific requirements that I was looking for in a shredder. Here are the features that I like the most about my new shredder:

• The machine has a 47-sheet capacity. This is a very high number, but the only drawback is that the machine is a strip cut machine. Businesses that need added security for sensitive information should not purchase this machine.


• The shredder has a high daily shredding capacity. My office workers can shred as many as 2500 sheets of paper in any given day. This number is much higher than my old office shredder.


• The motor is continuous duty. No one is my office has to worry about the machine shutting off in the middle of a huge job. The machine has the power to work through any shredding task.


• It has great shredding durability. I can shred media and paper with a great amount of confidence and trust. The machine is very quiet as well. I have to say that this is one of the quietest pieces of office equipment that I have ever used.


• The automatic reverse function is convenient. My shredding jobs are easy thanks to this feature. The machine reverses automatically to prevent interruptions in my shredding jobs. I like this convenience.
