Kobra shredder 240 SS5 Turbo is a multipurpose and multimedia office strip-cut shredder that features a "TURBO BOOST" function that significantly increases the shredding capacity by 30 per cent. In regular mode, the strip-cut shredder can process 37 sheets and in turbo mode it can handle 48 sheets at a time with a total speed of 8 ft./min. Its carbon hardened cutting blades can handle paper, credit cards, floppies, CDs/DVDs/Blu-ray disks, paper clips and staple pins.

The Kobra SS5 Turbo office shredder features a heavy-duty chain drive with steel gears "SUPER POTENTIAL POWER UNIT". Motor thermal protection ensures uninterrupted operation for extended periods of time. This strip cut shredder features a handy 9.5-gallon removable waste bin equipped with a special mechanism to separate shredded paper from plastic shreds of credit cards, CD-ROMs and floppy disks. An automatic start/stop function makes operation a breeze.
