Kobra 240 SS5 is a multimedia strip cut office shredder. It is a level 2 security shredder that can shred paper, CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, credit cards, paper clips, and staples. It has a high sheet capacity of up to 30 sheets at a time, and it can shred 3 credit cards at once! The Kobra 240 SS5 shredder's waste bin comes with a special mechanism that separates paper shred from plastic shred. It doesn't need plastic bag; saving you money.

Kobra 240 SS5 Office Strip Cut Paper Shredder

The Kobra 240 SS5 is a wonderful addition to my small office space. I work in a tiny office with very small office areas for the employees. The machine was purchases for the entire office that consists of only 5 employees. The machine has been quite an asset to the office so far. Here are a few of the things I like about the machine:

• The machine is affordable. I found this shredder on sale at an amazingly low price. Even at the regular price, the shredder is still less expensive than other shredders that were in the same class.


• The shredder offers a high shredding capacity. I can shred an amazing number of sheets in one pass. 30 sheets for a small office shredder impressed me. I get all off my shredding jobs done in a fraction of the time it used to take me with the old shredder.


• The machine has a powerful motor. The Kobra has a 0.75hp motor that is great for moderate shredding use. It can handle all of the jobs of the office workers. Other shredders in this class have a slightly lower HP motor.


• The Kobra is a level 2 security. The machine is used for non-confidential documents. It does a great job of shredding these documents into tiny strips.


• The shredder has a quiet design. I did not expect the shredder to be as quiet as it is. We can hardly tell when the machine is in use. This is a surprising but good feature about the machine.
