The Kobra 240 SS4 Turbo is a multimedia strip cut office shredder. It is a level 2 security shredder that can shred paper, CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, credit cards, paper clips, and staples. It has a sheet capacity of up to 23 sheets and it can shred 2 credit cards at once! This office shredder features a 'Turbo Boost' button on the control panel. On pressing it, its sheet capacity increases to 30 sheets at a time.

The Kobra 240 SS4 Turbo features an 'Energy Smart' Power Management system. This is an energy saving system that places the shredder in stand-by mode. It is an environmental friendly system, and utilizes optical illuminated indicators to indicate stand-by mode. This benefits you as you'll have low utility bills.

Kobra 240 SS4 T Office Strip Cut Paper Shredder

A fellow business owner suggested the Kobra shredder to me. He thought that this shredder would be a valuable asset to my business. I tested his machine, and I found that this shredder was something that interested me. I order my own a few days later. I have outlined the pros and cons that I found:

Pros-

• Turbo Boost – This feature allows my shredder to have more shredding capacity than normal. This feature is designed for tough jobs—especially with media.


• Energy Smart – This feature ensures that the shredder does not use any energy while the machine is on standby. The feature makes my shredder environmentally safe and convenient to use.


• Large Shredding Capacity – The shredder can shred up to 30 sheets per pass. This is an amazing capacity for a strip cut shredder.


• Quiet and Convenient – The shredder is perfect for my small office. It is extremely quiet and convenient. It is extremely easy to use.

Cons-

• Level 2 Security – The security level is low for a business shredder that shreds sensitive information. I have another shredder in my office that I use for confidential documents. The lack of this feature is not a total drawback for me.


• Small Feeding Area – The feeding area is 9.5 inches. It is great for most of my shredding jobs, but it is a bit of an inconvenience for larger sheets of paper.

I do not have very many issues with this machine. I like almost everything about it. The minor issues do not affect the performance of the shredder so I can easily say that this is a wonderful investment.
