The blades of this Kobra cross cut shredder are carbon hardened steel knives. They won't get damaged by paper clips or staples. This saves you time as you can feed stapled and paper clipped documents without removing these metals.

The Kobra 240 C4 cross cut shredder has a removable waste bin that can be just pulled out. It doesn't require any shredder bags; saving you money. Kobra 240 C4 Office Cross Cut Paper Shredder

The Kobra 240 C4 has done a great job in my small business office. I was looking for a machine that would last a long time and maintain its original performance level throughout the life of the shredder. I have outlined the most amazing features that I found on this machine.

• Shredding Ability – I was pleased that this cross-cut shredder could cut up to 15 sheets at once. Cross-cut shredders normally have a lower shredding ability because of the long process it takes to cut the pages to chards.


• Amazing Speed – The machine cuts pages at 17 feet per second.


• Reduced Noise – The noise level of this machine is not as great at the rest of my office equipment. The fax machine and the copier are much louder than the new shredder. The office is a little quieter now.


• High Security – The shredder is a cross-cut machine. It protects my business against identity theft and fraud.


• Wide Throat – The feeding area is 9.5 inches wide. It can handle any type of paper. Some sheets that are wider than the feeding area must be folded to fit, but I do not find this to be any inconvenience to my office workers.


• Strong and Powerful – The shredder is made of heavy-duty parts. It has a powerful 0.75 HP motor for continuous motor use.
