The Kobra 400 HS-6 COMBI is NSA approved high security shredder. Most of the high security shredders can shred either paper or optical media. But 400 HS-6 Combi is capable of shredding both papers and optical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays) with extreme security. It shreds the optical media into over 3,000 microchips that can't be retrieved or read even with specific and dedicated electronic equipments.The shred size is so small that it supersedes the industry's optical media shred size. The Kobra 400 HS-6 COMBI high security shredder has 2 feed openings, one for paper and one for plastic. The plastic feed opening is small so that you can easily insert optical media. It features an 'Automatic Oiler' system that automatically lubricates the blades. This ensures that the blades perform efficiently and last longer. It also features an 'Energy Smart' power management system. This environment friendly system significantly reduces power consumption and operational cost. It automatically places the 400 HS-6 COMBI in standby mode when not working.
