Kobra shredder 240 HS-6 is a level-6 NSA approved cross cut paper shredder providing the highest security level. The shredder is specifically designed for military and government use where information leakage is not an option. This high security cross cut paper shredder complies with NSA CSS Specification 02-01 and is approved for use by the US Department of State, the Central Investigation Authority (CIA) and the International Security Agency. With its carbon hardened cutting knives, this NSA approved shredder converts a single A4 page into 20,000 granulated particles, which cannot be deciphered using an electronic microscope. With a thermal protected continuous duty motor, it can uninterruptedly operate 24/7 without any overheating.

The 'Energy Smart' management system of Kobra 240 HS-6 paper shredder allows it to operate without consuming any energy in standby mode. This high security NSA approved cross cut shredder features an automatic start/stop function, which enables the unit to begin shredding as soon as paper is placed on its 9.5" feed opening. It automatically stops after shredding is complete. It shreds 6 sheets simultaneously with a maximum speed of 17 ft./min. It also features a detachable waste bin for conveniently emptying the contents and cleaning purposes.

The Kobra 240 HS-6 NSA approved shredder incorporates a continuous duty thermal protected motor allowing it to operate non-stop without overheating. It operates using a heavy-duty chain with steel gears. It weighs only 45 lbs. and can be conveniently moved around.
